I was 20 when I finally started thinking about being an entrepreneur. I wasn’t born to be an entrepreneur – my goal was to be a professional footballer (soccer). Since then, I’ve gone through the entrepreneur journey quite a few times, learning along the way as much as I could about being an entrepreneur.

The best way to become an entrepreneur is to “Just do it.” You will experience failures as well as successes. Failures happen because entrepreneurs hold certain beliefs that are in reality myths. They have acquired these myths by reading about them in media, word-of-mouth or books. You should read as many books as you can on entrepreneurship, but remember this: books on entrepreneurship don’t focus on providing real world, real-time advice. What may have been sound advice years ago maybe not be applicable today. It may be an entrepreneur myth.

The objective of publishing Entrepreneur Myths is to provide real-time, ongoing twitter-like advice that enables entrepreneurs to learn and share from each other.
