I prefer to learn from the experience of others." Maybe it is a bit stark/harsh, but there is a lot of truth in that.

I looked up your company online and it looks like an all female law firm. If so that is great! I'm sad to say that I have never seen that Dallas. Texas is known for strong women (we've had a female governor, mayor of the city, etc) -- however the men still try to be sexist and there is a strong "good old boy network" that is literally dying out. But thankfully I have watched things get much better over the past couple of decades!
