Hi Frank, thanks for your welcome message. I am not an expert in the African market, however I know Angola as a former portuguese colony in the past. I traveled three times to Angola, I made some business there, and the opinion I made about the African market was based in Angola.
The idea besides cigarBINS was in a first stage to help the environment, keeping the streets clean. In Europe and USA, as you are aware for sure, there is strong restrictions about smoking in public spaces. The owners of the commercial venues, as well as the municipalities faced a serious problem with the cigar ends and ashes as people have to go out to smoke. cigarBINS helped them with this issue and thanks why the product as sucess. Because it´s given FREE for venues and we can explore the A4 space with advertisements. Advertsisers like it very much as it is cheap, and it is an innovative way of doing outdoor advertising. My main website site is only in Portuguese ( www.cigarbins.com ), but you can take a look to the website of a partnership we have with an advertising company. The website is www.admadeira.com/english. Let me now your toughts about cigarBINS and in case you have serious entrepeneurs interested just let me know as we have several partnership programs . Let me know more about you as I am always looking to have new friends and contacts. Once again thanks for your welcome message, and I wish you all success.
Best regards

Dear Franc, thanks for the info. I like Egypt a lot. There is lots to do there. I like Kenya and Tanzania. I don't know much about Uganda, Rwanda or Burundi from an investment standpoint. I do like South Africa but from an investment standpoint, I am not sure it is good because of some of the things their government is looking to do in the future. In terms of sectors, I am used to investing into broad sectors such as technology, environment, energy, communications, media, entertainment, agriculture, etc. I will not do Biotech because I don't feel comfortable with it and it takes too long for investment exit.
Hello Franc, thanks for the wonderful welcome! It's great to meet you! I appreciate your feedback on our website. I am excited to read your blog, it has a ton of great information and articles! Lets definitely keep in touch! Jessamyn

How do you let people accept a new product on the market whose name a previous competition has already damaged. for example, One company launches a product called Tummy that consists of honey and cocoa, but because they probably don't mix the solution well, these customers that have tasted it begin to de-campaign it and before long, the product isn't selling, Then here comes my company,Very vibrant, we begin to produce a product with the same combination of honey and cocoa. we have the upper hand on how to mix the combination perfectly, but consumers' minds are already set to negative on the combination. what kind of marketing and advertising strategy is needed here??
Welcome back from the 'wild' - the entrepreneur world must certainly be on the opposite end of the spectrum from the wilds of Africa. I hope to visit Africa one day and see Lake Victoria... as well as some beautiful wild animals.
Am back into the world of entrepreneurs, I have a really long vacation and couldn't keep in touch. Any new developments ??, yes !!!, I have updated my blog and changed the name. I intend to build a website and make the blog a sub-page. Any more advice ???.
Hi, Frunc. How is your new venture? It looks like you are involved in a lot of interesting things. You have some good articles on your blog for entrepreneurs.
Welcome Frunc to Entrepreneurdex. I went on your blog and checked you out. Cool. I am doing some ventures in Africa and we would love to hear more from your perspective and view points on what it's like to do business there. Personally, I think Africa has lots of opportunities but you have to have the right connections. You could be of help to all in this community by providing an African perspective.
