Sven has a 38-year career in International Project Construction and Development, and International Company reorganizations. From 1979 to 1985, he was Management Trainee, Bechtel and various subsidiaries & project SPV’s. He was a trouble shooter for projects that had specific procurement issues that either required expediting or budget management or claims. From 1985 to 1988, he served as Procurement Manager, Kentz Europe. He was part of the management team for tendering and executing 32 projects. Managed project procurement activities and budgets for diverse types projects from pharmaceutical to oil & gas on and offshore, petrochemical & Infrastructure. From 1988-1990, he served as General Manager, B & R Netherlands BV, Netherlands. He managed a new construction supply company supplying electrical & instrumentation related products.

 

From 1990-1992, Sven was sales & marketing manager, Read Group of Companies, UK. He re-organized the sales organization of a group of manufacturing companies to avoid bankruptcy. Products consisted of defense, electrical and marine sectors consisting of 6 related companies and 840 employees. From 1991 to 1997, he was Managing Director of Instrumentation Division, W. Maass, Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, China, UK & USA. He re-organized the Japanese Bi-Lok Distribution of instrumentation products. He also developed and organized the South Korean Hy-Lok products of instrumentation division while developing new products and raising the quality of sales and global market distribution. From 1997-2109, Sven formed Sven Crone Consulting (‘t Hius van Vesta BV), The Netherlands. Over the years, he has worked on the following projects: (1) Development Al-Rajhi Trading Co. Limited, Saudi Arabia, (2) Reorganization of Nederlandse Vilieghiedsdienst NV /Falck/ Group 4 / G4S -Technical Division, Netherlands, (3) IDS Ireland Reorganization of Toshiba Power Division, Power Generation Control Systems in Europe (4) Re-organization of Ibris/ Company Overview of PT Risjadson Holding & Investment Co./ Indonesia & Singapore.
